- How much does a custom driveway gate cost?
- Welded aluminum estate swing gates typically run from about $2,600 for a smaller single-leaf gate to $16,000+ for wide double gates; aluminum top-track cantilever slide gates run roughly $7,700–$25,500 depending on the opening — the gate builder prices your exact size instantly. Fabricated steel-frame gates (galvanized or black tube with wood, vinyl, chain link or aluminum infill) are quoted after we review the opening, infill and site; the quote builder collects everything the shop needs in two minutes.
- Swing gate or cantilever slide gate?
- Swing when there is flat, clear room for the leaf to arc and the opening is under about 20 feet. Cantilever slide when the driveway is sloped or gravel, the opening is wide, or there is no room to swing — the gate rolls sideways along the fence with nothing on the ground. A cantilever needs a straight run beside the opening about one-and-a-half times the opening width.
- Can you build a gate to match my wood, vinyl or chain link fence?
- Yes. We weld a galvanized or black steel tube frame to your exact size and skin it in the same boards, vinyl profile or chain link fabric as your fence, as a swing gate or a roller cantilever slide gate. The steel frame is what keeps a wide wood or vinyl gate from sagging.
- Do you install driveway gates near me?
- We professionally install gates in the Wilmington NC area and in Zebulon and the surrounding Raleigh / Triangle region. Outside our install area, we can deliver your gate for your own installer, or you can pick it up at the nearest branch.
- Can my gate be automatic?

- Every gate is built to the inch. Single swing gates to about 20 feet, double swing to 40 feet, roller cantilever slide gates for 8–30 foot openings, and aluminum top-track cantilevers for 10–38 foot openings. Heights run 3 to 10 feet depending on the gate.
- What are the frames made of?
- Three systems. Fully welded 6063-T5 aluminum, powder-coated Black, White, Bronze or Hunter Green — rust-free and priced instantly. Hot-dip galvanized steel tube — the economical workhorse for chain link and farm or commercial gates. Black powder-coated steel tube — the frame that disappears behind wood, vinyl or black chain link.
