We measure the existing picket dimensions — width, thickness, and top profile — to source an exact match.
Match Species
Cedar replaces cedar; PT pine replaces PT pine. Mixing species causes color mismatch and differential weathering.
Source & Stage
We source the boards, pre-cut to length, and stage them on-site before beginning removal of damaged pickets.
Install & Finish
New pickets are nailed or screwed to the rails at the correct spacing. We recommend staining new boards to match the weathered fence finish.
New Pickets Will Look New
Fresh cedar is noticeably lighter than weathered boards. To blend the repair, we recommend a spot stain or full fence re-stain after replacement. Staining the entire fence brings everything to a uniform tone and adds years of protection.
