Residential grade is the standard for yards. Commercial grade uses thicker pickets and rails for the same look, at a higher price per foot.
- 2Height
4′ is the residential standard. Pool code usually wants 4′ minimum with specific picket spacing; 5′ and 6′ add material roughly in proportion.
- 3Style and top
Flat top is the base. Spear top, puppy picket (tight spacing at the bottom) and decorative finials add material and cost.
- 4Gates
