- How is semi-privacy different from solid privacy?
- Semi-privacy blocks the direct view but leaves small gaps that pass air and light; solid privacy is a complete wall that also blocks the breeze. The alternating picket layout is the middle path — screened straight on, breathable, and finished-looking from both sides.
- What does the 105 mph wind rating mean?
- The panel is rated for winds up to 105 mph, which matters if you are fencing near the coast or on open ground. The open picket layout also sheds wind better than a solid panel, so the posts see less load in a storm.
- Can I install this myself?
- Install difficulty is rated moderate. The panel assembly is manageable; setting posts plumb, in line, and at consistent spacing is where the real work is. If you can dig and set posts, you can build this fence.
- What else do I need to order?
- Matching vinyl posts and post caps are sold separately. Count your corners, ends, and gate openings before ordering so the post types and panel count come out right — we are happy to check your list.
- How long is the lead time?
- These panels are made to order, and typical lead time is 4-6 weeks from order confirmation. Order ahead of your target install date.
- Will I ever have to paint it?
- No. The color runs through the UV-stabilized vinyl, so there is nothing to repaint and a scratch does not expose a different color underneath.
