- What is the difference between scalloped and arched tops?
- A scalloped panel dips toward the center of each section; an arched panel rises. Both come from our riveted traditional family, so the build is the same — choose on looks.
- Why do the rivets matter?
- Each picket is mechanically locked to the rails, so pickets cannot creep or rattle loose through heat cycles and wind. It is the detail that keeps a traditional picket fence feeling solid a decade in.
- Why is the install rated moderate?
- The scalloped top punishes inconsistent post spacing — if the sections vary, the dips will not match. A careful DIYer with a string line does fine; our Wilmington, NC crews can also handle it.
- How long is the lead time?
- Made to order, typically 4 to 6 weeks before shipping. Add transit and order the full run — panels, posts, caps, gate — together.
- Does the vinyl require any maintenance?
- Just washing. The color runs through UV-stabilized material, so there is no paint or stain to maintain.
