- QuickShip is a stocked program rather than a build-to-order line, so it ships on the fastest timeline we offer for aluminum. The catch is fewer choices: two styles and black only. If your project is on a deadline, tell us and we will confirm the current lead time before you order.
- What styles and colors are available?
- Two styles — #300 Long Islander and #400 Alamo — in black only. If you need a different color or style, our Select Residential aluminum program has more options with a longer wait.
- Will this gate match a fence I already have?
- It matches QuickShip panels directly. Against another aluminum fence, compare picket spacing, rail count, and height before ordering. Close is usually good enough on a gate, but check first — send us a photo if you are unsure.
- Can I install it myself?
- Yes. The main work is setting a plumb gate post in concrete and hanging the gate level — a patient DIYer can do it in an afternoon. If you are near Wilmington, NC, our installers can handle it for you.
- Does aluminum rust?
- No. Aluminum does not rust the way steel does, and the powder-coat finish means there is nothing to repaint. It is the low-maintenance way to get the wrought-iron look.
