- How do I know which cap size to order?
- Measure the outside width of the post, not the inside opening. A 2 in. post takes a 2 in. cap, and so on up through 6 in. If the measurement lands between sizes, send us a photo and we'll sort it out.
- Should I pick flat or ball caps?
- It's purely a matter of looks — both do the same job of closing off the post. Flat caps keep a low, modern profile, while ball caps give the fence a more traditional, formal top line.
- Do post caps come in colors other than black?
- Caps are powder-coated to match our ornamental aluminum line. Tell us your fence color when you order and we'll match the cap to it.
- How do I install a post cap?
- Most caps press-fit onto the post. A small bead of exterior-grade adhesive inside the cap keeps it from walking off in a storm. No special tools needed.
- How fast do caps ship?
- Caps in this program are typically ready to ship in 3-5 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $500; below that it's a $75 flat rate.
