- How do I know which routing I need?
- Walk your fence line: every post between two panels in a straight run is a line post, every turn is a corner, every stop is an end, and every gate needs blank gate posts. Sketch it, count it, or send it to us and we will count it for you.
- When should I add the aluminum insert?
- Always at gate posts, and at corners or tall privacy runs in windy or coastal areas. The insert slides in before the post is set and turns the post into a reinforced structural member.
- How deep do vinyl posts get set?
- Deep enough to reach solid, undisturbed soil, and set in concrete — post depth is what keeps a fence straight through storms. Local conditions vary, so ask us about your soil if you are unsure.
- Do posts come with caps?
- Caps are sold separately in five styles, so you can pick the trim level. Order them with the posts and everything matches out of the same run.
- What is the lead time on posts?
- About 10 business days — faster than made-to-order panels at 4 to 6 weeks. Ordering everything together means posts arrive first or alongside, never late.
