Common questions about the Select Residential Panel Options
- What does Playground spacing mean?
- Picket spacing tightened to 2-3/4 inches, which closes the gaps kids can squeeze through or get caught in. It is the arrangement to look at for play areas — and around pools, where you should verify your local barrier code.
- What is the difference between Doggie Picket and the Double Picket styles?
- Doggie Picket tightens the spacing across the lower portion of the panel to stop small dogs, while the Double and Full Double styles add pickets for tighter spacing and a more substantial look — Full Double carries it through the whole panel.
- What do the numbered styles like #300 Long Islander change?
- They are cosmetic variations on the same 3-rail construction — the look changes, the build does not. Six styles are available, including #200 Californian, #203 Maine, and #300 Long Islander.
- How does color affect the price?
- Black is the base price. White or Bronze adds 5 percent to the panel.
- Are posts included?
- No — the panels hang between 2 inch posts on 72 inch centers, ordered separately. Send us your layout and we will spec the post list to match.
