Common questions about the accessories Gate

Does the gate come with hinges and a latch?

Self-closing hinges are part of the build, and latch hardware is chosen from the available options when you order. Tell us how the gate will be used and we'll recommend the right latch.

Will the gate match my fence panels?

With 25 configurations in the program, there's a match for the panel styles in our ornamental aluminum line. Send a photo of your fence if you're unsure which configuration you have.

Do I need a special post for the gate?

Yes — gate posts run heavier than line posts because they carry the swinging load. If you're ordering the gate from us, we'll spec the post with it.

Is this gate suitable for a pool enclosure?

The self-closing hinges are a good start, and pool codes typically also dictate latch type and height. Check your local code — or look at our kid-safe line, which is built around pool safety standards.

What does the warranty cover?

The powder-coated finish is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Ask us for the current warranty terms with your quote if you want the fine print.
